Leary celebrates ‘Comics Come Home’ at the ‘Gahden’

The way Denis Leary sees it, hosting “Comics Come Home” is the “easiest job in show business.” With Saturday’s show at the TD Garden, he celebrates 20 years of calling up comedian friends like Jimmy Fallon and Lenny Clarke, getting his band together, and putting on the biggest comedy show in town. And it’s all to benefit the Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care, founded by Bruins legend and current team president Cam Neely, another longtime pal.

“I invite these guys,” says Leary, “I go up, I welcome the crowds, maybe sing a song, and then I just bring up eight or nine really funny comics, and I get to watch like you guys do. I sit on the side of the stage and laugh my ass off.”
